Buckles and buttons

Claymore Kilt Brooch (length 106mm) Stering Silver and 5,000 yr old Bog Oak. The full tang runs through the Bog Oak handle, pommel and is peened at the top to lock everything together. The brooch is heavily made (16 gms) with a barrel catch of my own making, covering the pin tip. It has a strong nickle pin. It is not likely to be bent or fly off while "Stripping the Willow".

The Pictish Boar Buckle (65mm x 85mm) is a massive 5 1/2 troy ounces of Sterling Silver and finely crafted. The hinged belt bar is set for a 46mm (1 3/4 inch) belt, but can be changed to fit a narrower belt if you like.

A must have for the well dressed Highland Man. The buckles are made as good as they look, weighing 4 troy ounces, the pair, they won't bend or get lost whilst running though the heather.

The Wrestling Dogs Kilt Belt Buckle (for 55mm belt). This is quite a substantial buckle weighing over 4 troy ounces with a hinged belt bar to allow the buckle to set well.
